Your function
Activities covered by the team of Technology Development and Group Purchasing are Corporate center IT coordination & operations, corporate center PMO and Architecture, Data Management, Procurement and Group Sharing Initiatives.
To strengthen the team, we are looking for a Group Procurement Manager. The Group Procurement Manager is responsible for all procurement activities, covering the procurement of goods and services for the Ageas Corporate Center, and coordinating procurement activities at Ageas group level.
The Group Procurement Manager will be responsible for the following:
Procurement at Ageas Corporate Center
The role will be responsible for the acquisition of goods and services by the businesses of the Ageas Corporate Center.

Act as spoc towards the business for all procurement activities for the corporate center.

Negotiate new acquisitions (Source to Contract) based on a pipeline of future deals to be maintained in close collaboration with the business and the procurement planning.

Act as internal consultant by applying a defined Procurement Procedure.

Monitor the quality of execution of existing contracts and manage the relationship with the suppliers (contract execution / vendor management).

Maintain, control, update, communicate and report on the Procurement Procedure and Outsourcing Policy.

Report to Senior Management on procurement projects and achievements.
Group Procurement
When multiple entities would acquire the same goods or services, or more than one entity has contracts with the same vendors, negotiation is elevated at group level to coordinate the acquisition of large volumes at best conditions.

Operationally coordinate the monthly Group Procurement, which governs group acquisitions and is composed of the heads of Procurement of participating entities of the Ageas group.

Identify procurement opportunities and negotiations to be conducted at group level.

Realize synergies in the acquisition or negotiation processes.

Monitor and facilitate group negotiations delegated to a Procurement team in one entity of the group acting on behalf of the group.

Directly negotiate group contracts when relevant and necessary.

Monitor the delivery of key suppliers on group contracts, and closely manage vendor relationships.

Report to Senior Management on procurement projects and achievements.
Group Procurement Policy

Act as owner of the Group Procurement Policy.

Maintain, control and update the Group Procurement Policy.

Communicate its existence and support changes to the entities’ Procurement teams.
Your profile
-
Experience of minimum 10 years as IT buyer or/and as IT Manager in charge of IT acquisitions, able to handle a complete purchasing process (demand management, RFI, RFP, proposal analysis, contract & price negotiation, vendor management).

Strong analytical skills and experience in Process Management allowing to optimize/maintain the current Policy and Procedure.

People Management experience of a virtual team.

Leadership to conduct the implementation and change project in the Ageas Corporate Center and in the group to align to Procurement policies & procedures.

Able to take on an advisory role towards internal clients.

Outstanding negotiation skills.

Autonomous in organizing and prioritizing own work in line with management guidelines.

Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
